Doggy Chums takes great pride in the carers it offers. We dont just want anyone, we aim for the best of the best. We have stringently checked each carer to ensure they meet the high standards we aim to achieve. The carers are always at home with your dog, take your dogs for 2 walks per day, your dog will enjoy a home environment where your dog will be loved almost as well as he or she is at home. Peace of mind is the most important part of our service, and this is our goal for you, whilst providing entertainment and a fun packed break for your dog. Check out the carers we have below in your locality...
Home dog boarding is a new alternative to kennels. Doggy Chums
understand that you love your dog, and the idea of placing your dog
in a boarding kennels is not ideal. We recommend going to visit our
carers and viewing their homes and seeing how your dog will get on
in their household. We aim to provide a dog friendly home service
for you when you need to go away. Peace of mind is what we strive
for and we hope that you will see that we make great effort to
ensure you are happy with our home dog boarding offerings.
If you are having a holiday, why shouldnt your dog have a holiday
too?
Dog boarding kennels are establishments which were set up to ensure
dogs had a place to stay at a cheap rate to enable owners to have
somewhere if their family were not able to take the dog(s). As we
have progressed as a human race, we now consider dogs a vital part
of the family home, indeed calling them members of the family. Doggy
Chums buy into this and therefore want to provide a loving caring
home environment where your dog(s) will be cared for almost as well
as he or she would receive at home. We understand that dogs have
their own personalities, quirks and habits and we want to ensure
none of that changes while they are in our care.
Try to put yourself in your dogs thought process... he/she may be
thinking:
Have my parents abandoned me?
Is this going to be my new home?
These dogs are barking lots and its really stressing me out
I am used to going for a run and sitting on the sofa, and now im in
a cage
Where is my human interaction which i thrive on?
and much more...
When in a kennel environment, your dog(s) are at a significantly
higher risk of catching potentially fatal diseases, one such being
kennel cough. They can also suffer with seperation anxiety and this
can cause them to not eat, not exercise and most of all, the
personality of the dog you love can change. We do not want to see
that happen.
This is one of the reasons why we decided that we would offer home
dog boarding. We think it makes perfect sense, for those who really
care about their dogs and can't go on holiday without wanting the
very best for their dogs.
Come and meet our carers, and see the difference for yourself. We
encourage you to make an informed decision and judge whats best for
you and your family!
We try to make our service work as efficiently as possible, whilst
not sacrificing attention to detail when we find out about your needs
and dogs. We care for a number of dogs, so its extremely important we
understand each dog that comes to stay. We do this by following a
routine that works for us. This is the process:
1. Click our Register
& Reserve now button
2. Input your details as requested and click 'Sign up'
3. Input the details about you and your dog and then scroll down to
select a service and then click Boarding Reservation
4. Add your pet and select the boarding date and time and click
continue
5. Select the package/carer you want and then click add to include
your dog in this service.
6. Scroll down, see the cost and if you are happy, press continue
7. Complete the visit information and then sign the agreements.
8. Input payment details if you want to, but they are not necessary at
this stage and if you dont want to, just click submit and we will
receive your request.
If you need anything else, just call us on 07588 - 100551. Thank you
for reading.

Hello Doggy Chums, and welcome to my profile for dog care.
I am seriously passionate about dogs and hold a qualification for
dog training. I have a natural way with dogs and love being a pack
leader. My whole life is dogs, and the welfare of your dogs (and
all others) is of paramount importance to me!
Your dog will come to my home and become part of the pack. Dogs
love being in a pack and learn good behaviour at the same time.
I have my own dog (Koda) who is a puppy white German Shepherd.
Clients with dogs that are usually nervous around other dogs have
come to us before and settle in very well. Place your trust in me
and you will see a new side to your dog that you maybe never knew
possible. Read my testimonials and see what you think.
When you visit, you can leave your dog with me for an hour and I
will give you a report on how they settled when you return. This
is free of charge! We look forward to rubbing noses together!...
Bruna and Olivia spent 15 days with Caroline and they had a great time. It was a good opportunity for them to socialize with other dogs and learn how to behave in a pack. Caroline is really affectuous and kept us informed during our absence, which was great. Being so protective of our babies as we are, we fell confident in leaving them with Caroline, next time we need to leave.
It was immediately obvious when I met Caroline that she cares a great deal for the dogs she boards. She was wonderful with communication and gave frequent updates on Magglio during the duration of our holiday. Most importantly, we came back to find Magglio to be happy, healthy, and stress-free after his two week stay. We would happily recommend Doggy Chums and Caroline to other pet owners.
I can't tell you how much peace of mind I had going away on holiday and knowing Holly was well looked after. This is the first time I've used a dog boarder. I've always asked friends and never used kennels. Caroline made it easy. She kept in contact the whole time. She didn't mind how many times I texted her and she sent me updates and photos while I was away. I will definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, use Caroline again. Holly came home a very happy girl. She had even lost weight from all the walking in the park, which is definitely a good thing
I absolutely adore Caroline. She is brilliant with my three babies. I have used Doggy Chums on several occasions and the quality of service provided by Damion and Caroline is excellent. All of my dogs love staying with her. I highly recommend them and wish them continued success.
Caroline is fantastic, she makes you feel wonderfully at ease with the whole process of leaving a loved one. From the outset we knew he would be in good hands and he was. We are very impressed and it has taken a huge stress out of our lives knowing Pup pups has a home from home that he loves going to.
Caroline is by far the best dog trainer/carer we have ever dealt with, she's so kind, loving and humble. Before taking our puppy to her, bentley wasn't good at socializing with other dogs no matter how much we tried no success. After a week under Caroline's care Bentley now plays and interacts with other dogs which really makes me happy. I would highly recommend her and pretty sure your dog will love her.
Caroline knows dogs inside & out. She is kind, caring &
responsible. She takes our dogs to Cannons Park rain or shine and
sends us photos while we're away. Our dogs spent Christmas with
her and were treated to turkey and rice for dinner.
Our 10-year-old Lab requires some medications, and I trust
Caroline to make sure that he gets the proper dose at the right
time of day. Our 2-year-old Golden Retriever loves to play with
Caroline's white Shepherd, Shadow, and always comes home tired but
happy.
Dogs have the right of way at Caroline's home, sleeping on her
sofas and frolicking in her garden til all hours. She is also
flexible with drop off and pick up times, which is great, as many
kennels are not open on weekends. Caroline loves dogs and they
adore her, too.
From the moment I spoke with Caroline I could tell she understood
dogs and had a wealth of experience with looking after them.
Owning a Jack Russell rescue who was not socialised as a puppy,
finding the right person to look after him is always a challenge
for me as it is not enough to find someone who loves dogs: he also
needs someone who understands their behaviour and is confident.
Caroline has both qualities. She took wonderful care of my dog and
was able to handle his Jack Russell moments with no difficulty.
I am really happy to have found someone that can look after him
and take good care of him while I am away. My mind is at rest. I
would highly recommend her to any dog owner!
Rosie had a fantastic time with Caroline. From the moment we met
her we felt confident that Rosie would be staying with a really
kind caring individual.
Throughout our stay away Caroline sent us pictures and emails
which reassured us that she was having her own doggy holiday.
I would recommend Caroline and Doggy Chums, and have already
passed their details onto my friends. All in all a great
experience.
I had to leave for 2 weeks and couldn't take my doggy with me
because it was way to expensive to travel with him.
At first i was a little worried to leave him with someone i met
once but i had a good feeling straight away when i went and
visited Caroline's house in Edgware.
The house is great with playing and sleeping space, Luppy loved
the garden and the long walks in the woods.
I left him without worrying thanks to the pictures that were sent
to me whilst I was away. The dogs' stay in a pack so they can
always play all day with other dogs.
I was happy to leave him as i knew he was having a holiday as well
and i didnt feel guilty leaving him in london.
Great experience, Luppy is sad to have left the pack now that he
is back home, i will definitely reccommend leaving your dog with
Caroline and i will leave Luppy there again for sure!!
Caroline was great with Apple! She took very good care of him, sent me regular updates and photos. Apple is a fussy eater but she made sure he ate and when he came back home after 12 days, he looked very happy & healthy. I would definitely recommend Caroline as a carer!
Bo stayed for a long holiday with Caroline. She is hugely passionate about dogs, loves them like her own. Caroline is a confident dog carer and she loves her job. Bo was happy and content when I collected her and loves going to stay there. Trust me when I say it's all about the dogs at Caroline's house, I can't recommend her enough.
Stanley has now stayed twice with Caroline. The second time I took him, he ran to her door. So he must have had a good time. Both times he came back happy and looking well. Caroline clearly likes dogs and looks after them well!
Caroline gave Bonnie a caring loving holiday, we came back to a very happy calm contented dog, very much appreciated!
I have never left my dogs with anyone other than family. I was very nervous about the idea, but traveling with them to the states was just not an option. I found Doggy Chums online and after reading the profiles and testimonials of each carer, I chose to go meet up with Caroline. Right off the bat you could tell she just understood my dogs. She was describing their personalities to me as soon as we walked in. She made us feel very comfortable. We were away for two weeks, they came and picked up the pups for me since I don't own a car. The only thing I would say that was at all negative was that I wished there was daily communication and or pictures, I had to reach out more for updates instead of getting them sent without asking. After two weeks the pups we returned and all I can say is THEY told the story of their stay. They came home SO happy, bright eyed, lovey. And they can be nervous and untrusting with strangers. Caroline really did great things with these two, taught them how to be in a pack, which they've never been except for the two of them and us, and Samantha had a picture of her PLAYING with another dog. She does NOT like other dogs normally. I can absolute say I will use Doggy Chums and Caroline again. Thank you for making our trip mostly worry free on the doggy front.
I totally recommend Caroline as a Dog sitter. She looked after
our 3 month old puppy very well and he returned to us better
mannered than when we dropped him to her.
It was great that he got to play with all the other dogs also
because this was / is a part of his development.
The great thing about Caroline is she LOVES what she does, She
loves dogs and she also walks them twice a day where most places
don't walk the dogs and people return from holiday to find a very
unfit and probably unhappy dog. That is not the case with
Caroline. You will not be disappointed.
Just wanted to leave feedback for Caroline. She looked after our Italian Greyhound, Sunny, two weeks ago (8/3/2014). She is a kind and caring person who loves dogs and who was very patient with Sunny. I can totally recommend her as a good dog carer. thank you Caroline!
Charlie is not an easy dog to look after, he's a 'rescue' that
has been abused in the past.
Caroline did a magnificent job in assessing and addressing his
particular problems and made his stay with her as comfortable as
possible, and I would whole heartily recommend her.

Hello Doggy Chums, and welcome to my profile. I am Eva, and I
have been around dogs for all of my life. I have always cared for
peoples dogs, when friends go on holiday, or they just need a day
here and there.
My professional experience comes from offering services via my own
work and Doggy Chums. I am well known in the area as a dog walker
too and have lots of friends to play with. I have worked with
Doggy Chums since January 2013 and have the experience you need to
ensure your dogs are well looked after. I do prefer Toy-Medium
dogs as I am unable to handle larger dogs.
You are invited to pop over and meet me and the pack (if i have
any boarders at the time) and bring your dog. I want you to be
sure I am the correct choice for your family!

Hello and welcome to my profile. My name is Mary and I board dogs
with my husband David. We have been boarding dogs in our home now
for 3 years and it gives us the peace and tranquility to be able
to live our life as older folk without too much stress.
We spend all day pampering and loving your doggies and they get
two walks a day in the lovely 2 acres of land we have behind our
home.
Please come and visit our home and see for yourself before you
make your choice. We look forward to seeing you soon...
Eiskey stayed with Mary and her family for a week this year. We felt very comfortable leaving our elderly dog with her. She had obviously had such a good time on her holiday that when we picked her up she turned from the car to go back into the house
Wispa had a wonderful time with Mary and her family. They were great with her, even going so far as to buy her a Christmas present to open Christmas morning

Hi, I am Sue and I have run a business for 20 years. Before I
started the business, I did a two year dog training and dog
behaviour course. I have a natural ability to work with dogs. I
have 3 german shepherds.
I am a patient and calm person who has a deep affection for the
dogs I work with. I have a small team of extra hands to help out
with the other services we provide. Dogs come first in my life and
my job gives me a great sense of fulfilment. We love taking the
dogs for walkies, whether rain or shine!. Dogs in our care will
have a minimum of one hours walk in the morning and then again in
the afternoon. No more than three dogs are walked at any one time.
Dogs that stay with us are constantly supervised, and we ensure
they will never be left unattended.
We only take dogs that have been neutered or spayed but we will
take various sizes and breeds as long as they are not agressive.
We invite you to come and look at us and introduce us to your
family. We look forward to meeting you! We are fully insured, and
are licenced by Croydon council to care for dogs.
I had peace of mind knowing that my Groot was taken care of, in a loving family home. I would highly recommend the services of Sue and Doggy Chums. Thanks for all your support.
Thank you Doggy Chums for finding the best carer for us, we were very happy with the services and our puppy got a lot of attention and socialising with other dogs. We also got daily updates on her well-being, which was very helpful, as we were quite nervous initially to board our dog for the first time. So, highly recommended!
